ben7 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Hi, Looking to get some mintex pads for the rear of my 05 academy car. Mintex have asked me to check whether they are the small pads with a spring at the top. Any ideas or even better part number???? Thanks, Ben
Mark Gregory Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Ben: Part number for Mintex rear pads is MDB1287M1144. The M1144 defines the friction compound. Depending on what front pads you have the rears may be overbraked with 1144 compound. HTH, Mark
CharlesElliott Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 ...and they do have a spring at the top. As Mark says, what are you running on the front? Charles --- My SuperGraduates 2006 diary My SuperGraduates 2005 diary, My Caterham Academy 2004 build and race diary

CharlesElliott Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 OK, might be fine with bigger front calipers. Charles --- My SuperGraduates 2006 diary My SuperGraduates 2005 diary, My Caterham Academy 2004 build and race diary
