Electrics - indicator/side light issue

Guys,

 

Grateful for your help. before engine and gearbox removal, all lights, indicators etc worked perfectly.

 

Taking the engine out dislodged NS headlamp connector which is in the engine bay ( I have water proof connectors for headlamps to enable them to be removed quickly - well it seemed a good idea at the time ! ).

 

Connector cables all checked, reinserted with great care taken to make sure cables matched.

 

Anyway, on checking the lights the NS headlamp, side lide and indicator worked fine. BUT, the off side indicator had an issue. With the NS indicator on, the OS side light flashes dimmly.

 

Cables have not been touched other than to check connectivity.

 

Any thoughts please ?

I would say almost certainly an earth problem. The wrong light flashing dimly is a fairly classic sign
