rj Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Would anyone happen to know the dimension of these, ie from the front of the box to the bracket hole...? Or just the length and diameter of the box. TIA Regin Growing old is mandatory - Growing up is optional Edited to be a little more specific... Edited by - RJ on 20 Jun 2006 19:20:23
rj Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Eeeh.... The silencer that is Peter... I don't think the gearbox comes in different noise levels... BTW sorry to hear about your HG. A bit too soon when you've just started enjoying the car!
Peter T Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Sorry i cannot help you there now, as my car has gone in for a gearbox and headgasket rebuild. R500 Mango Madness
rj Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Well, If just my English was better I'd know how to ask my questions 🙆🏻 Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you getting your car healthy again! Growing old is mandatory - Growing up is optional
rj Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 Peter, Fingers are crossed, hands folded. If there's anything you need to get it up running have I stock of a few bits, such as an unused VHPD head, unused Omega forged pistons and R500 con rods. These parts are meant for my own engine, but if you're desperate I'm sure something can be sorted out. /regin Growing old is mandatory - Growing up is optional
Wight Skipper Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Just been out to the garage: Front of box to bracket hole : 81cm Length of box alone : 69cm Diameter : 56.5cm
rj Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 That's one hell of a diameter Just what I thought! Anyway, many thanks. Then I shall see if I can shorten the current cat/collector to suit this (as I am a tight fart!) /regin Growing old is mandatory - Growing up is optional
Wight Skipper Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I guess it is the huge girth that does the trick.
