To remove the roll bar, simply jack up the car and remove the back wheels, undo the bolt going through the DD tube securing the bottom of the shock, repeat on other side.

In the boot you will need to peel back the carpet to find the grommets covering the holes for the top shock bolts on both sides, undo these and remove the shocks.

You will need to remove the boot cover and the harness bolts.

You now have access to the bolt holding the FIA bar in place, [underneath the car, above the top of the shock]these are two bolts [one each side] with the heads machined for clearance above the shock.

Undo the bolts in the boot where the bar comes down to the back of the boot, the bar should now be free and will come off with a wiggle.

Now the cage, sorry, not done that part.

What year is your car, and which cage do you want to put on - you need to know you have the right cage bushes in the chassis (then you need to find them!)

Even with the bushes in place the cage can be a pig to fit.

From distnat memory yuo have to:

1. Cut holes in the sideskins to reveal the bushes below the bottom rear of the scuttle.

2. Depending upont he dash trim fitted, modify the dash trim to accept the triangular plates at the front.

3. Drill mounting holes for these plates in the dash panel.

4. Get all the holes/bolts to line up - can be a pig

5. Tighten everything up having replaced the boot cover with the new roll cage one - Cage tubing is smaller dia. than FIA bar. Replace harnesses.
