RobinW Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 Is the a special tool available to adjust the adjustable spring platforms (on the CSR in may case, but I believe they are all the same)? I'm sagging by about 1cm at the rear off-side
nickdodo Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 Robin, You need a C spanner - cost about £5. I expect people like DTs will have them if you cant find one locally. Nick in the (1987) 1700 X Flow...
RobinW Posted June 15, 2006 Author Posted June 15, 2006 Thanks Nick. Is a C spanner and adjustable device, or do I need a specific size? Robin
shn7 Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 Thye come in fixed or adjustable sizes. Can't help on what size you need though. May also depend on the type of collar you need to adjust. The earlier ones where castelated whilst the newer (and I'm sure this must apply to the CSR) use recesses in the collar. Steve. Not forgetting Percy the Polar Bear
David Brown Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 A good fitting philips screw driver or Alun Key carefully used does just as well.
