Difficulty Engaging Gears

[R400 NOT]

I find it difficult to engage gearings in R4OO NOT (Rover engine, six-speed box) when everything gets hot, say after being out in it for one hour. On cold days it seems OK; it only happens on these nice hot sunny days ☹️

The first thing I'd be looking at is the clutch cable & adjustment. I noticed mine getting harder to push in the hot weather and if the clutch is not fully disengaging it would effect the gear change. I'm going to remove my cable and get some lube down it.
