chrisrudd Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Gentlemen, This used to be easy with the old style round brass floats. Measure the distance from the underside of the float chamber cover (including the gasket) to the nearest point on the float ignoring the brazing ridges. However, the newer style plastic floats have flat tops. So the question is: Where on the float do you measure to? a) nearest the fulcrum pin or b) furthest from the fulcrum pin or c) somewhere in between. Any info gratefully received. Chris.
vikebo Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Hi Chris, At least I will try the method Keith Franck describes for adjusting the float level when I get my engine reassembled: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/kdfranck@pacbell.net Click on "A_Weber_White_Paper" and download the pdf-file. Maybe a bit more complicated, but surely more accurate. Eivind
