Adam H Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I had the clutch cable replaced on the 7 last week and now the bite is much lower than it used to be. As a result, heel and toeing is causing the car to become a little unsettled instead of smoother when changing down. I thought I'd get used to the new position pretty quickly but after a whole day with Hugh at Cadence, I was still struggling to change down as smoothly as I could before the new cable. Is it possible to adjust the position of the bite position or do I just have to wait for the cable to stretch a bit over time? Adam 1400ss 6sp LSD
paulyb Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 You can adjust the clutch from the end where it actually meets the cluch fork by undoing the two nuts and moving up or down, or alternatively you can adjust at the pedal box end on the threaded part (or a bit of both) - depends how much adjustment you need
