JP Posted August 15, 2022 Share Posted August 15, 2022 Hi all,I'm about to start my strip down and I need a flat bed trolley to be able to wheel the engine and g/box about once it is out of the car. It's a 1.6K and 5-speed box. Could anyone recommend a trolley or tell me the combined weight so that I can find one that won't collapse please? rj Posted August 15, 2022 Share Posted August 15, 2022 Depending on what flywheel, alternator and other ancillaries you have on the engine will it weigh around 80 kgs. Istr the type 9 gearbox is around 30kgs,could be 35 though If you aim for a 150kg trolley you're more than safe. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
