Upgrading to adjustable suspension

As part of my rebuild of my 1999 1.6K SS, I'm going to go to adjustable shocks.  Currently I have std widetrack suspension.

Another forum member (thanks Guy) has recommended protech shocks.  I spoke with them today and they seemed very helpful, but I would be grateful for any comments that others have on options.  The car is a 1.6K SS with a some small small DVA tweaks and a 5spd T9 with std ratios.  My use will be road and track days.  I don't race.

First I need to decide between rubber bushes or rose joints.  There is a small price difference and there seems little reason not to go for rose joints, but I'd be grateful for comments from those who have them.

Next, do I go for single or double adjustable?  There is a significant price difference between them and I'm thinking single would be fine for my intended use?

Finally, if anyone else has any experience of these shocks, I'd be grateful for comments on their experience.

I run Protech on my Duratec Freestyle.... Kevin made a set up for me based on my requirements, 

You can spend an awfull lot more on coilovers but I've yet to see evidence that units costing 8 times more are 8 times better.

I'm interested in getting adjustable shock absorbers for my car.

1996 K series 1.6 Supersport 138bhp

Road use only, possibly an occasional track day but main use is road only.

How much is a set of 4 one way adjustable shocks?

I run either spherical joints or powerflex all round on the complete car to remove as much friction as possible, they downside is they will naturally increase NVH thro the car but in all honesty NVH in a Caterham are not normally used in the same sentence.

Kevin will make the required bushings for you too.

As for cost, for 1 way adjustbles it's about £120 per corner + VAT depending on spec. More if you want springs as well.

How do you tell the difference?

By adjustable, I mean adjustable height.  The shocks are also adjustable in varying degrees.

As far as I know, widetrack was always an option.  Mine has a roughly one inch hexagonal spacer block at the top of the shock where it mounts to chassis.

For info, my old 1999 1.8K (kit) came with narrow track, which I subsequently upgraded to wide.
