Dampers SV

Car 140 Sigma SV

Sorry I know this has been covered before but would just like to check that I have fitted the correct damper on my Ex track car.

I started at the front and replaced the M! dampers with  Caterham part 75526AS, but now the ride hight at the front is only 110mm and I am at the on the threads on the adjustment The M1 shocks sat at about 170mm, clearance on the sump now is about 75mm

Confused SV ownner

Damper bodies may have additional circlip grooves. If not, you can machine them.

Is your SV a wide track, if so do the new shocks have the wide track extension  part number 75555 on the top?

I can take my spring dampers apart without a spring compressor.

#5  Me too.  I use a pair of ratchet straps (which I subsequently loosen very carefully).
