Alex, there is a group of us from Solent7's,West Hants and West Sussex travelling up from midday on the Friday staying are various locations around Chepstow, some of us are staying south of the bridge as it can be a traffic nightmare on a Friday afternoon. Can give tips on accommodation if you require it.
Thank you to the 94 people who've completed the questionnaire over the last three weeks. Of these around 50% have expressed interest in the BBQ at Handley's on the Friday evening. It's also great to report that 40% of the responses are from F&C Run first timers.
Thanks also for all the positive comments and ideas. Of these let me just highlight a few:
- Camping - For those that are interested in camping at our very own Taffia pop-up campsite near Chepstow - which proved very popular last year - please can you contact Gerard (gerard@virtual7.co.uk) if you'd like to book a pitch.
- Car parking in Aberdyfi - Please see response #7
- Accommodation - there's only limited accommodation in Aberdyfi itself. A number of Taffia members have booked into the Dovey Inn, however I'm told that is now fully booked. Last year some stayed at the Trefeddian Hotel - which is 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Aberdyfi.
Andrew, any thoughts on my question above, #8?
Many thanks.
I've sent you a pm.
Just a side question Andrew, I have been doing this since 2015, and always thought we had good relations with the Peacefield .
Did we upset them or what was the reason for the start venue change.

Imagine lack of space when we had 200 cars last year
For Question 1: my answer isn't a "Yes" or "No", it's a "Maybe, I don't know at the moment".
Otherwise the answers are: Q2: No (I don't do barbecues), Q3: Unlikely but not out of the question. Q4: Yes.
