Nice part. I'm surprised nothing was available before.

I use a rubber door stop screwed to the loud pedal.

"I'm surprised nothing was available before."

There's a few plastic pipes out there.

Mine's a block of mahogany.

I've  turned a few aluminium ones on my lathe for a couple of people. How durable will the plastic ones be?

I'd expect pretty damn durable. PLA is quite tough and stiff, and the bits around where the foot touches is 6 layers thick. If it turns out to be crap there's options such as carbonfibre-mix PLA but that destroys the print head. if people have been using PVC and wood then I'm happy this will work.

If this was a pedal for a transit van, I wouldn't be as confident.
