Don't suppose the SS cams are EU3 hydraulic by any chance? If so then I'll take them please.
SV VVC 170 - 170.4 bhp @ 7100 rpm - 142.4 ft.lb. @ 4900 rpm
I'll measure the lift later, that will tell me..

EU3 but mechanical profile (I have shims too convert hydraulic followers here).
Oilly
If Andrew doesn't want them as they are mechanical I would be interested, depending what you consider a reasonable offer.
If you convert hydraulic tappets to mechanical do you need to swap the spring retainers? Obviously you do for the 'proper' mechanical tappets but never thought about what you do with the converted ones
Dave, thanks for the info. Simon, I would prefer hydraulic so if you want these, please go ahead. Cheers, Andrew.

You use all the standard valve train, caps, springs and converted followers.they are currently on fleabay at around £100

Ok Dave I'll have them at £100 if thats ok with you? It's kind of what I thought used cams are worth. Unless you are letting them run on the eBay?
I think the vhpd cams are probably a bit too much for a small valve ported head as I have currently, will have multi throttles eventually but not as yet.
I'll have to buy shims from you to convert my followers as well.

£100 is a bit light, as old core for reprofiling they are worth around £150. New cams are £635. They will suit your engine better than the VHPD ones when on a plenum, when you graduate to TBs the VHPDs would be a better bet.
Shims are £3 a pop.

Do the shims need linishing / adjusting for each valve & lobe or just pop 'em in?
