My dealer is planning to chase down the factory this week about my car and two others in a similar situation. I'll share the existence of the spreadsheet view with him since that seems to indicate the requested information is readily available.
During my build I had a message that CC had decided to make new wheels especially for CSR cars like mine.
I had chosen the standard black wheels, was not offered the option to just get what I ordered, was given no say in the design, or right of choice. Of course the wheels had to be designed, built, tested (?), approved, made and supplied. But what is a few more months to wait.........
On the flip side, the quality of the car is significantly better than my ten year old car, so I can see lots of progress with the product side but little on the communication side. Emails can be a bitch.
Enjoy the car, it will be worth the pain, promise.
I received word last night that my car is now showing as Ready for Delivery. Next step is figuring out shipping. I have the option of reducing that cost by sharing a container with another car that's still stuck in waiting-for-parts hell, but it comes at the expense of further delay. Once I know the cost savings and the approximate additional wait time, I'll make a decision.
Thanks! That's great news on your situation. Do you have a delivery date yet or at least an ETA on when you will have one?
My engine has been sitting complete on the stand in my garage for over 3 months, effectively mocking me about the delays for the rest of the car every time I set foot in that space. I'm looking forward to that finally ending.
You could ring Caterham Gatwick direct and ask for info.
They use a spreadsheet system to keep track of new builds (which is presumably updated at Dartford), this was mine last month.

I feel your pain!

Nice, hope the shipping gets sorted out soon !
I just paid the balance of mine yesterday, a year after I ordered it.

Hopefully it should pass the IVA test next week, and then the registration should be complete 2 weeks after that.
Can't wait ! The weather in southern England is perfect right now.

So it passed IVA. Car is currently at Dartford in what is called "final preparations, quality assurances and pre delivery inspection process"...
Should be delivered to Gatwick at some point this week, I'll be straight down there to take a look.
The overall delay has been 7 weeks from the original build schedule.

Fantastic! You must feel like a kid on Xmas Eve!
Well it's still a bit surreal at the moment.
A year of waiting after ordering it, plus the previous 6 months of deciding what to get and if it's a sensible idea..
We shall see very soon !
