Back to Insurance, one question I was asked today that I've not heard before was whether I'd like to add Salvage Retention, at a cost of £15, to allow me to keep the wreckage in the event of a write-off claim. (They said the alternative was that you could usually buy the salvage back for around 15-20% of the value before the write-off incident).
For me, Ive had to weigh up insurance cost, along with breakdown insurance and a few days Euro cover all in one (which Flux do) or get the parts individually.
Flux doing breakdown cover on an older 7 has a great appeal for £37 (?) .
Hi Nigel, will post list tomorrow - once I've confirmed final choice

Very good Ian. Think you would be better off with Sump cover rather than windscreen. :)

I'll have you know my last "sump moment" was over 5 years ago (May 2009 to be precise
).
Maybe yours is more expensive as I'm considerably younger than yow!

Good to know from your personal recommendation that that stuff works

Not heard of that optional extra before

Gosh it is cheaper once you are over 50.
Looks like it's Peter James for me. They have given me my best quote so far.
