Now what? Brexit content, you don't have to click this

But even if you don't click this you are going to have to live through it if you are based/from the UK.

Following on from What Now

Our Brexit Secretary has been making the news today.

We are, and I hadn't quite understood the full extent of this, but if you look at the UK and if you look at how we trade in goods, we are particularly reliant on the Dover-Calais crossing.

This graphic seems to give a pretty impressive idea of quite how important the traffic around Dover is to us.

From Doug's chart, that's 4.5 million trucks / year in 2 way trade with EU.

Who's going to keep tabs on that lot! An army of Customs Officers and paper pushers ( How many Customs Officers do we actually have at this time? )

Without free flow of trade, there's going to be one hell of a queue at the ports.

Even the smallest of delays to each truck will cause havoc.

To be honest I don’t think anybody has a clue what brexit is going to mean you can do all the charts whatever.  You want no one will no till it happens. That includes   The government

Sadly Derek there is a consensus about how Brexit is going to turn out with those that understand the issue. The Governments own analysis shows us getting poorer in all forms of Brexit that were tested....

Unfortunately the government is packed full of over confident twits who have only just realised that we live on an Island right next to Europe. Where the Tunnel and RoRo ferries mean we essentially have a land border with France.

Feel free to point me at any evidence that I am wrong.

Hi Doug I think when most people voted.  There main reason was to many immigrants coming into England.  As schools hospitals ect cannot cope with and amount of money we give in aid

let’s sort our own out first   Great how all the immigrants don’t want to stay in France but want to come here as they no England is a soft touch

It's likely to lead to more illegal immigration. The French will just wave them through. They're not going to stop them, and as soon as they arrive our side of the channel, there'll be our problem to deal with.

And who will stop them coming through from Southern Ireland?
