Lotus 7 Register and Historian

I am looking to get some info to authenticate a Lotus 7 and found the Lotus 7 register of John Watson.  Is he still the L7 historian?

Any other suggestions of good resources welcome!

Graham, I think he has severed his connection with the Club. That said, he is probably still the person to speak to about Lotus produced Sevens. Contact him through his own website.

There is also another gent listed on the inside cover of Low Flying usually, Martin Phipps is the Caterham Cars Archivist (martin.phipps@caterham.com) but perhaps the other chap mentioned here may be better on the early stuff? No idea how far back Martin's records go?

Thanks, I assumed that as Martin was the Caterham Archivist, he'd only have records for Caterhams!

John Waton has emailed me back and he is away at the moment, so that's all good.

John knows all the cars and is back in the UK now.

#6 / #7. In the Caterham archives, we hold records back to 1973 when the rights to the Seven were acquired by Graham Nearn. Any enquiries on Lotus Sevens I pass either to John Watson or to the Lotus Archivist, Andy Graham. You can read about his role - which is very similar to mine - here.

Thanks Martin, I hadn't thought of Andy Graham, so thanks for that.
