Hi Ben, you need to read the instructions again
Just type the text you want to be the link (eg "Bugs"), then highlight that text, click the "chain" icon, and type or paste the address of the site you want to link to (eg http://www.lotus7.club/forum/bugs ) into the box - simples
Lotus 7 Club Area Rep Co-ordinator
Ahhh, now I understand Thank you.
I've elaborated the instructions a little
The Completely Superior Ride Seven
I've written some instructions on how to insert a picture in a post by uploading it to the site so that you don't need to host it somewhere else.
Let me know if there are errors in the instructions
Thanks Shaun. I managed to get it to work (using an IPad) and as you know I'm not exactly a computer expert. See:-

I thought 2020 was the year that was going to give me all I wanted. It turned out to be the year to make me appreciate what I've got.
Thanks to Shaun for helping with my log in problems
Thanks for the amazing amount of work that you have been doing on BC, you either need a medal or psychiatric help.
Is it possible that the yellow update can be added to the sticky for the 2015 Polar Bear Blat? Other wise no one knows its been updated.
It's Shaun who is doing all the work on BC and deserves the medal (or treatment!), not me: I just put together this list of user tips as a kind of initial "User Guide" as the same questions kept coming up.
The Yellow "updates" flag that appears on some topics depends on whether you have read that particular thread since it was updated, so it's "automatic" and varies depending on which user is looking at the forum. Anyone who hasn't visited the Polar bear thread since it was updated will see the yellow flag, which is why those who have visited it (ie you) won't see the yellow flag).
Hope that makes sense! Cheers, Ian
