Arrived in Verona today. Heatwave 37 degrees Celsius. Road surface starts to melt (so am I).

Bravo Jan! Wow! That is HOT!

I remember being in Udine in similar heat but exercising was beyond me!

Almost covered 2000 km and arrived in Assisi today. Not much fun cycling in 38 degrees. Forecast for the next few days is even worse. Talking about taking on a challenge.Confused

What can I say, Jan.  Astonishingly well done.  I've walked the route through many of those hill towns in moderate temperatures and been shattered.   I don't know how you do it.

Jan, that is so impressive! You must need a lot of water!
