Caterham friendly accommodation near Castle Combe?

Thinking about my drive to Castle Combe for the May novices track day (over 2 hour drive) and I'm thinking I might be better staying local the night before. Can anyone recommend something secure and local?

I'm having the same thoughts and would be interested in any recommendations.

We're staying at Guyers House at Corsham. Good quality hotel, quiet and off the main roads, with massive car parking area. We've also stayed at the Angel Best Western in Chippenham town centre a couple of times, which is also very comfortable. Its car park is at the rear of the hotel and also spacious, and l think has cctv. Both about 10/15 mins. from the circuit.

Manor Farm, Grittleton (just up the road from Castle Combe circuit) as long as you don't mind staying on a working farm. Evening meal available at The Neeld Arms just 5 minutes walk away. Not sure of the circuit policy before trackdays but for sprints you can leave you car in the paddock the afternoon before. The farm only has 3 rooms and will provide an early cooked breakfast. Room for trailers. From memory around £90 per night.

I'm also looking at staying near the circuit on the night before. Does Guyers House or the Best Western have parking suitable for a trailer?

Don't forget that you will be tired after a day on track. A two hour drive after that can be tedious....especially if you started the day with a two hour drive....

enjoy your day ....
