Anyone visited Caterham Gatwick lately ? Is there anything to see ? Website says Zero stock .
Still worth a visit ?
The article in this months Low flying stated that some of the showroom turned into workshops .
Going up to London tomorrow , Saturday (Cycling L2B Sunday) , Thinking about making an hour detour .
What's the verdict ?

There are no s/h cars there. Everything is dedicated to production. I suggest you call them. My assumption (no more than that) is that the dealers (Williams, Oakmere, Krazy Horse & Silverstone) have whatever stock there was.
And Chris, enjoy the cycle. I'm in Llanberis ready for Snowdonia for Science.

Thanks Stephen. You too ...enjoy those climbs
Second hand dealers in the south East include Sevens & Classics at Brands Hatch and Gravely & Paine at Ide Hill. Plenty of stock.
Thanks , Yes just looked at the map n realised they are scattered not too far from Crawley .
And as we are staying at Tulse Hill (South of London) be a crime not to call in
I guess it would!

As a follow up. We had a great weekend . starting with the Caterham Gatwick visit .
We arrived around 3.30 pm took an interesting and scenic route . Colin P and myself were made most welcome , offered coffee and a guided tour of the new production facility and original workshop by Alex.
I think we chose the right weekend , as was quiet in the workshop; staff were away supporting a race meeting .
Had quite a positive chat with Alex about Caterham working to further improve L7 club and member relations , more tours for interested groups etc.
Sunday's L2B was brilliant , had a great ride . Easily improved on my(self imposed
) target time . Thank you all who donated/supported us riding for PCR.
The staff at Team PCR hospitality tent , Brighton were great , Thanks

Well done on the L2B.
CC need to take a leaf out of the the old Lotus Cheshunt site and build a mezanine floor in there with a ramp to outside world and build even more....
Well done Chris! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was grateful for noticably cooler weather in north Wales.
Was there anything which tempeted you to swop cars or were you able to keep your wallet closed?

Hi Stephen , It was great seeing Sevens in all stages of build. It did remind me what was under the skin of our cars , love tubular spaceframes etc.
It actually made me appreciate what i have at home and how much it would cost to achieve the same or similar spec now.
But we also got to see up close (crawl all over) the 170 , and realise how much fun they could be on 155.... yes 155 skinny tyres , and cleverly utilising a standard S3 chassis with everything brought in closer to achieve its minimal Kei car dimensions
Especially after reading the Interview in this months Low Flying about the Japanese Seven scene , the little car makes a lot of sense.
