Formally announcing the ‘Caterham and Lotus Seven Club’
I am delighted to announce that effective 7th November 2021, the Club formally became the “Caterham and Lotus Seven Club” following the decisive outcome of the members’ vote earlier in the year
Now that the formal name change has been adopted, the work of updating the Club’s identity throughout the many locations where it is used is proceeding. This process will of course take some time to complete but in the first instance, our new name is being displayed on November’s edition of Lowflying and is being rolled-out across the Club’s various locations online.
We have now adopted the new web domain: www.caterhamlotus7.club and whilst the old web address will continue to forward to our updated URL for some time, we would encourage all members to change their browser bookmarks to the new address, and also to note that the email addresses to contact Club officers have also changed (see November’s Lowflying or look on the Club website under “About Us”for details).
A new range of Club merchandise is being developed and will be available soon. The address to view and order merchandise online is now: www.7gear.store — do keep an eye on the range as this is surely the perfect Christmas present opportunity…
The Leadership Team of the Caterham and Lotus Seven Club hopes that all members will fully embrace our new, more inclusive identity which better reflects the full lineage of the cars we are so passionate about. We remain that same club of dedicated Seven enthusiasts, under the same Club logo motif that we adopted in 2003. Only the name has changed — a little. As we have said before and are happy to repeat, the Club does not want to lose one iota of the Lotus Seven Club, just “add Caterham”.

Now that the URL has changed, browser saved passwords no longer work. I predict lots of "reset my password" requests.

I'm happy to try and help Apple users to find passwords saved by their browsers or in their keychains.

I have had no problems. just changed my shortcut url, I then had to sign in again, saved sign in and password and job done. All is now set up and ready for the next vote to change the club name again
Password reset page should be working again now - any issues drop me line.

You agent provocateur, you! And I'm not referring to your negligee.

May I just ask, since the new logo shows the name as Caterham & Lotus 7 Club (which IMVHO looks better than 'and'), should it not be the same when written in sentence form?
