And the irony is that the differences between cars are almost inconsequential , as F1 moves ever closer to becoming a spec formula. Still, it keeps the Drive to Survive fanbase happy , as they think any race where the cars are separated by more than a few tenths is rubbish.
A little birdy tells me Aston Martin had quite a positive initial test day, sounds like they could be one to watch, certainly a big step forward over last year. Guess that's what happens when you hire a load of people from last years championship winning team :)
We'll, first practice and the Sky team are just as abysmal as always. Discussions on body piercing and Ted's breakfast then they cut to Ad break whilst the two leading drivers are on out laps.........
Considering how much Sky pay Liberty Media for the rights you would have thought that they would pay serious money and employ some professionals rather than the muppets they currently have, ruins the coverage for me
"Why launch a car with side pods you know will change?"
The fog of war. Why launch a car weeks before the first race with all your goodies on show allowing competitors time to evaluate and possibly copy?

#42 They've shown it 2 weeks before the first race and less than a week before testing. No time to copy anything even if someone should care to.

So the Aston Martin seems genuinely quick. Mercedes are clearly struggling, Red Bull and Ferrari are all up there as well.
It could be a 3 or 4 team battle at the start of the season, although I suspect the big teams will out develop Aston Martin as the season goes on.
Alonso is clearly enjoying himself.

P.S. pinched from Twitter.
I'm sure the RHS picture could be of several of the current crop.

Completely agree Scott400D, dreadful coverage.
