Despite my plea at the start of this season to keep this thread for friendly, civil and objective opinion and that we dispense with the personal insults and attacks, the message has not always been heeded.
The unwelcome personal insults and attacks (on teams and drivers) have, on occasion, been accompanied by social media-style trolling, baseless accusations and few who waste no opportunity to snipe and take cheap shots at those teams and drivers whom they might not happen to support.
Criticism is fine, but let's keep it civil people! This is an F1 discussion thread, not a fanboy forum - there is a difference.
Please, let’s make it a better ’22 and here's to as thrilling a season as 2021 proved to be.
Stay well everyone .....
So LED wheel covers, what do we think? another advertising opportunity as well as making F1 cars look like something out of the Fast and Furious :)
@rgrigsby
Dear lord, just no.
Got my ticket for Silverstone in 2022 - can't wait!
Midlife crisis begun....
Well from the few pictures I've seen of the 18" wheels they make them look like hotwheels cars now anyway. May as well have something on the wheels to replicate the toys!
There is something very sexy about deeply dished F1 wheels. That's why I hated those awful wheel covers that came in around 2008-9 ish.
LED covers - nooooo. They'll look like something out of Tron.
Wheel covers are part of the 2022 design so unfortunately, they are coming regardless.
As always: I'd greatly appreciate descriptions of the technical changes and links to relevant stuff.
Thanks
Jonathan
