The Northants Beds and Bucks Area covers a large slice of country and we meet fairly centrally, on the third Wednesday of every month, at The Old Swan, Astwood, between Newport Pagnell and Bedford.
Monthly meets can attract up to 15 or more cars, with many of our number enjoying a bar snack, or in the summer a chat in the garden, or perhaps a tyre kicking session. Bonnets have known to have been removed.
We are very much an area of mixed interests with members touring both in the UK and Europe, as well as track days, sprints and other competitive events. We have all manner of cars, crossflows, Vauxhall powered, K series and latest Cosworth, Duratec and Sigma powered examples.
For the last several years we have hosted the Clubs attendance at the Silverstone Classic in July. We have organized a few visits in recent years, one to Ultimate Performance who have worked on the development of the R500 cylinder head, another to Northampton Motorsport, and have had 7 autumn blats in memory of our previous AR Paul Marriott. The most recent of these was a circular route in the countryside around Milton Keynes (not all roundabouts)
