The Lincolnshire area of the Lotus 7 club meets at the Three Kings pub in Threekingham, near Sleaford on the first Thursday of the month from 7.00pm onwards. Being one of the largest counties in England with a widely dispersed population we try to make sure that we organise events starting at various points of the county so that members who find it difficult to get to our monthly meetings are able to take part in Blats or meet up with other members at our Sunday ‘Tea & Cake’ runs.
Our group includes members who are interested in all the aspects of owning a 7. Some of our members regularly participate in Track Days, Racing and Sprints whilst others enjoy the more sedate touring side, both in the UK and in Europe. The group has a wealth of 7 experience from self-builders and fixers to high performance driving instructors, all of whom are very happy to share their expertise.
We organise several Blats each year the most popular being across the Lincolnshire Wolds. We also organise ‘Tea & Cake’ runs to places of interest around Lincolnshire like Burghley House and Gunby Hall near Spilsby. These meetings allow members to enjoy a scenic drive to a meeting point where there is the opportunity for tyre kicking & discussion about ‘slipped diffs’ as well as the chance to look around some historic buildings and eat cake!
So that's a little about us, and we'd be very pleased to meet new, prospective and existing members at the monthly meeting on the first Thursday of the month from 7.00pm at:
The Three Kings Inn, Saltersway, Threekingham, near Sleaford, NG34 0AU (map)
Members from outside the area can also sign up to our mailing list by contacting Club Admin so they can be kept up to date with local events and news.
Best wishes,
Liz & David
